Kinver Freeliners Angling Club

Welcome to Kinver Freeliners Angling Club. We are a private Angling Club which controls the fishing rights to a wide variety of waters ranging including stillwaters, rivers and canals.

Kinver Freeliners AC prides itself on having a series of quality venues for its members to fish. Challenging venues where it’s the thinking angler who catches the most fish. If you want to fish quiet unpressured waters where it is a pleasure to just be there, you’ve come to the right place.

We control the fishing on the Dudmaston Estate near Bridgnorth which is owned by the National Trust. This is the jewel in the crown for the club as it offers spectacular fishing and stunning views. The are three lakes at Dudmaston, the Big Pool, Brim Pool and Seggy Pool. Tench and Carp are the main quarry but big Eels, Pike, Roach and Perch are also in residence.

We have recently added two lakes at Woodlands Lodge to our portfolio which contains plenty of silver fish as well as carp.

We also have the rights to four stretches of the River Severn. Hampton Loade and the nearby Unicorn Fishery have some of the most prolific barbel swims in the Country and earns its reputation as ‘barbel alley’ and fishing is available on a Day Ticket on the bank. We also have two section of the Lower Severn at Kempsey near Worcester and Bushley near Tewkesbury, that although not as prolific as the Middle Severn, holds some very large Barbel Zander and Carp plus all the normal river species associated with the Lower Severn.

For the canal angler we have two sections of the Staffordshire-Worcester at Stewponey and Gothersley.

The Club prides itself on being friendly and democratic and we have monthly meetings. Memebers are also expected to help out on work parties. If you have any questions about joining, the Secretary will do his level best to answer them by phone (after 6 pm) or by e-mail.
