Warwickshire Avon, Wick Grange

Wick Grange

Wick Grange is three meadows in length holding 45 pegs and is at Wick, which is just upstream of Pershore. It is a comfortable water to fish as it doesn't have the high banks of the River Severn and is not so prone to flooding. All the normal river species are present hereincluding Zander, Carp and Barbel the water used to also offer large bags of Bream. It is receptive to all methods and particularly lends itself to fishing the stick float.

Wick Grange is reached by taking the Evesham road from Junction 7 of the M5, which used to be the A44 but is now the B4084. This stretch is about a mile from the Avon Bridge at Pershore and is only a short walk of about 100 metres from the car park.

This water can be fished on a day ticket which must be purchased from the Club Secretary, IN ADVANCE. Water bookings for matches are also welcomed.
